French press coffee seems to be making a resurgence of late, particularly now that the trend for home brewed coffee has picked up. Because I was spending so much on takeaway coffee, I decided to give this machine a try as it seemed like good value for money.
The Savvy Coffee French Press Coffee Maker works just like a regular French press, you add in your water and coffee, let it steep for as long as required, then plunge and drink. It’s a glass pitcher with a stainless steel filter, so very similar to others on the market. It takes about 4 minutes to brew your coffee, but there’s the option to leave it longer if you like a stronger flavor.
This particular French press makes about 3 small cups of coffee per brew, but you can use it as many times as you like if you have more people to serve. The filter keeps out the larger chunks of beans, meaning it drinks just like a regular coffee.
After trying this product I’m an absolute convert to the French press way of making coffee. It brought out flavors that I had never even tasted with regular coffee! The Savvy Coffee French Press Coffee Maker worked so simply to get the optimum flavors out of the coffee, and for a first time user, I didn’t have any issues at al figuring out how to use it.
I am looking forward to how much money I can save making my own coffee at home, and the best part is it tastes better than most coffee shops I’ve been to! Would definitely recommend this product to everyone who enjoys a good caffeine hit in the morning and doesn’t want to compromise taste.
